The Erguna River Valley has recorded the season’s first fog.

In the early hours of Monday, the Erguna River Valley in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, welcomed its first rainfall of the year. The river remains unfrozen, its waters still flowing, while aquatic plants sway gently in the breeze and white frost blankets the branches along the banks. When water vapor in clouds or fog rapidly freezes and adheres to cold surfaces, rime forms.
