The fourth China International Import Expo is about to open.

The 4th China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.

Sun Chenghai, Deputy Director-General of the China International Import Expo Bureau, recently announced that this year’s expo has further expanded its total exhibition space to 366,000 square meters. More than 80 percent of exhibitors are from the Global Fortune 500 or leading companies in their respective industries, and many are returning for a second participation.

From the buyer perspective, a total of 39 trade delegations and 599 sub-delegations attended to conduct professional procurement. More than 1,200 registered buyers reported annual import volumes exceeding US$100 million.

From the exhibitor perspective, nearly 3,000 exhibitors from 127 countries and regions are participating in the business exhibition.

A total of 58 countries and 3 international organizations are participating in the Country Exhibits, with 15 countries making their debut. Among them, 5 countries are taking part in the CIIE for the first time.
