Latest entry policies for China!

Starting April 29, airlines will no longer require passengers to present pre-boarding test results. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ regular press conference held on April 25, spokesperson Mao Ning announced that, in order to further facilitate travel between China and other countries and in line with the principles of scientific precision, safety, and orderly management, China will further optimize its remote testing arrangements.

Effective April 29, all travelers to China may substitute an antigen test for a nucleic acid test within 48 hours of boarding, and airlines will no longer require proof of pre-boarding testing.

Meanwhile, the Chinese side reminds travelers to conduct thorough pre-trip health management and monitoring, strictly comply with both China’s and local epidemic prevention requirements, and ensure a healthy journey, an enjoyable trip, and a safe return home. China will continue to refine its prevention and control policies in a science-based manner in light of the evolving epidemic situation, thereby better safeguarding the safety, health, and orderly travel of both Chinese and foreign nationals.
