To work in China, you will get a Z type work visa.
You will apply for a work visa along with a work permit notification from China. Your employer will apply for it in China. It will take one to four weeks depending on different cities.
As long as you have decided to apply for a work visa at a designated embassy or consulate, then your work permit notification record will be forwarded to the embassy or the consulate. It cannot be changed.
